Saddlebag Levers Issue?

only when there is something in the way, or the lever was a tiny bit down before I even put the lid down. 99.9% of the time they are smooth as butter.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe they really really need to be all the way open before trying to close.

I push down on the lid and the lever goes downward a little on it own, that's when I know it's all lined up and a gentle push to latch.

As everyone else noted...only when I've stuffed them to full and have to clear it out of the way.

Seems like making sure the lever is all the way up before even trying to close it is the ticket.


Seems like it jams up the lever if you close the bag and it is not all the way open. Been working very good the last couple of days.
