With all this bag clip recall nonsense, Ive been thinking I will just go ahead and purchase some bag bolts to securely lock my bags on. Just as a piece of mind thing.
Is there really any difference between the kits out there (aside from price)?

I really feel if I knew where to get the clips I could just build my own set from the local hardware store. Have a hard time paying $30+Shipping/handling for something I know costs >$5.

It mainly started a year or so ago, when creeps were stealing CVO bags. All the creeps had to do was slip a screwdriver into the spring clip & snap it. Those bags with power locks were very expensive. Even locked they could be gone in minutes.

I just finished putting these on, cost a little more than the hardware store but you can't beat the convenience of a **** and they have a lock that prevents them from falling out.

There is a nylon washer that clips on the threads of the bolt after they go through the hole in the bag which keeps them from falling out when taking the bags off.
