I have a PP with the standard baffle on my 2015 SG. Recently took a 2300 mile trip with no problem. Most of the trip I wore my full face helmet with ear plugs. No helmet in some states I still wear earplugs. As a rule on any ride over 100 miles I wear ear protection. I love the sound of my PP. Especially the popping when downshifting....
I just got off the super trap site, came back to here and saw a couple of folks suggest super trap. My tuner thinks that the eseriesexhaust is connected to super trap. they certainly look similar, and the price looks good.. I like the tune able option. This option is looking good.
I have the pro pipe on my 2015 Limited and I think it's too loud. My Softail has the Rinehart 2:1 and is much quieter when cruising. I was hoping it was going to sound a little quieter than it does and I'm considering getting the quiet baffle. It's a dresser, and I want it just a bit quieter.
My record is 7 car alarms going off at the same time while takin a Sunday morning jaunt thru the south end of the city with the Propipe. I'm pretty sure that one will stand for a while. That's ok it's all druggies and similar crack heads there.
I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust and air cleaner on my 2015 flhtk, and am really leaning toward the propipe. I do not want a loud pipe. For reference, I had rinehart true duals on my 05 cvo eglide and big shots on my 06 cvo fatboy. the big shots are way to loud for me when touring, and ideally, I'm hoping the propipe will not be as loud as the rineharts. can anyone give me a reference based off the pipes I had on my old bikes? any other thoughts would be appreciated. thanks!
Pro Pipe is the best choice in my opinion if you can live without a cosmetic pipe on the other end. I put this pipe on my 2014 Street Glide Special, it dyno'd at 85 horse power but the torque is explosive! Love it!!!

...and the sound is a perfect balance of not too loud, and definitely not stock
the main thing I am looking for is quiet power. It seems like the 2:1 are good for the power but could vary in how much noise they make. any of the pipes that use baffles, like supertrapp or e series from fuel moto, are quieter sounding pipes from what I gather.
