I picked up a 2015 CVO limited last week. It now has 300 miles on it.Went to go for a ride yesterday and the rear brake was vibrating the whole bike. Pulled into the nearest HD dealer. They said the bike cannot be ridden. It has an abs problem and a warped rotor. So a $40k bike and I am let at the dealer with no bike and no ride home. I called HD dust service and the answer was I should have taken the extended warranty. NICE. I just turned in my 2014 Limited with the warranty maybe I should have kept it. Not happy
I think with the Ext warranty you get substitute transportation.
Expense Reimbursement Package
If you have a covered breakdown while on the road, you'll receive $75/day (up to $750) for a rental vehicle, $150/day (up to $450) for meal and lodging, and up to $200 for towing to an H-D™ dealership.
Just found out you do get the rental coverage with ESP even if you are home, no distance requirement. Just has to be a HD licensed rental dealer.
1. It's your bike. They cannot take it away from you...for any reason. They may suggest it's unsafe, but it's still your decision to ride it. Hell, you rode it in, ride it home and have them pick it up. No matter what, it's better than being on foot.
2.) Uhhh, 300 miles and the brakes fail??? That is a manufactures defect in anyone's book.

Just curious, was the nearest dealer the same dealer that you bought the bike from? If not maybe a call to the selling dealer may have helped seeing as you just spent $40,000. Unfortunately HD's warranty doesn't provide for anything other than fixing the bike; no tow, no loaner, no rental. While some dealers take care of their customers, others have told people to use the 1 free tow you get with your free HOG membership.

Not sure what this sentence means, please explain?
How far from home were you? No friends to come pick you up?
WOW I have the same bike, I'll be keeping an eye on it, but I can tell you this, I know for a FACT that my supplying dealer (Harleyworld) would give me a bike whilst mine was done, it could be anything from a sportster to a glide, but they would give me something!!!
