I should have said a class 4 or better.

8,000 photos. Might take a little time to edit.

I don't know why our go pros create a new file every 3 gigs.

I can't believe how quickly I'm filling my main computer hard drive with video from the camera.

If you want to use the Hog Tag Collar, I seriously recommend mounting it as high as possible, to avoid the bolt hitting your front fender when you hit a hard pothole. Ask me how I know about that. :-(

I'm not a fan of the battery eliminators, because if you plug them into the cig port in the fairing, they've only got power while the ignition is on. I got a long USB mini cable that wires right to pos & neg via a 10' cord. It plugs into the side of the camera and charges the battery. So you've got the ability to start/stop video before firing up the bike. The EDO Tech USB port posted earlier looks like it might work for the remote. I'm going to try that out.

I have a 3 TB desk top inclosure that I load all my videos and pictures onto for just that reason. lol

Actually, I have two desktops and two laptops. Each of them have an external hard drive to store pics/videos and backups on.

It depends on how you wire the power port. But, I understand that those of you that already have a power port/cig lighter in your fairing have the issue you describe. Mine is an add on and I purposely wired it to power so that I can shut the bike off and still run the camera.
I have proof of that. I've had to edit out some long gas stops/ pit stops because I forgot to turn the camera off. lol

Default Hog Tag Collar

I have a Hog Tag Collar mount for the 2013 and earlier HD that I no longer have a need for (Moved up to the 2014 Limited). I'll give it away if anyone wants it. Just pay the ride and it's yours. Earliest Private message gets it.

This is the most stable mount I have found for the GoPro camera.

THIS WILL NOT WORK ON 2014 AND NEWER.

GONE!

Bought a Hog Tag Collar for my '14 Limited. Mounted my GoPro 4 and went for a ride. It's shaky as hell. If I could figure out how to post the video I would.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to stabilize it I'd appreciated it.

Contact the folks at HogTag collar. He will give you some tips. Make sure the metal band is over the rubber part of the mount and not touching the bike anywhere. If using an extension, keep it short, and make sure it's tight. Using the little white gadget that comes with the gopro also helps.

What settings are you using on the camera?

I saw the little white thingy, but don't know what it does. The camera settings are the basic settings, I haven't changed anything.

I am technically challenged, so when it comes to stuff like Protune and the other manual settings on the camera, I don't have a clue.

I used only enough extensions to be able to mount the camera. I tightened them with a screwdriver. The collar is on the rubber thing that it came with.

If you have any suggestions as to what camera settings I can use, I'll try it. Apparently GoPro doesn't use image stabilization yet, so that's not an option, but perhaps other resolutions or something.

Thanks in advance.
