Kinney, they had your bike for a week and nothing. Time for a visit and maybe acting up. Ask them who is your regional manager. Tell them you want to contact him. Put in a call to Harley. Another thing, don't buy another bike on impulse.

They called yesterday, said bike was fixed. They are 60 miles away, so I called them and said I am on my way. The guy said he would get it ready for me. Five minutes later he called back, and said it acted up again. So it wasn't the ECM. Crap. Said they have been in contact with Harley techs trying to figure it out.
Sorry to hear it is not fixed. I know the summer is fading - but am certain the dealer will find the issue. Since you did not have an extended warranty, ask how long they will warranty "this fix" in case it happens again.

Aren't the high-tech-wonder-systems on these bikes just the most marvelous things on earth - when they work - and a total PIA when they don't, since you're (we're) having to rely on clueless hacks to figure out what the problem is?
