I have the Fobo bike TPMS system on my iPhone and I love it. Works great every time. There is a tire temp reading too and I was shocked to see that when riding through the Nevada desert a few week back that my tire temp was 181˚.
Be careful what you wish for. The TPMS on my Goldwing:
1.) Doesn't distinguish between which tire is low, it only says that a tire is low, nor does it tell you what the pressure actually is. So 1 PSI low is treated the same as 20 PSI low by the Honda TPMS.
2.) Should somebody, when replacing a tire, damage the Valve Stem . . . that will be just $210.65 from Honda . . . thank you very much.
3.) There is no way to disable it, should you not wish to repair it.
You can purchase complete aftermarket systems (including those that will tie into Garmin GPS's) that will provide you with this information for less than the cost of just one of Honda's Sensors.
I do not have nor do I desire to spend the money on a Garmin GPS, the one on the 6.5 Boom Infotainment system is suffiicient for when I do need a GPS
The TPMS wheel sensor for the 2016 CVO is $95, it does differentiate between front and rear and shows the current pressure in each tire. Like I said it's a pretty slick system. It's also displayed on an information screen on the infotainment system you toggle to with a handle bar switch. I know all about the goldwing system a friend has it.
Unfortunately it does not look like it will be an option, the part number for the 16 RGU infotainment system is the same as the 15 SGS, which does not work with BT TPMS sensors.
The CVO infotainment part number is different, and costs an additional $600 bucks.
1) I highly recommend you upgrade to steel valve stems if you are going to use the cap style systems.
2) I use right angle valve stems they are much easier to check and fill, FOBO style caps are wont work they wont clear the brake calipers.
3) I just got away from having to mount my phone on the handlebars to use it for music and NAV, I have 0 intent on going back, it toss it in my saddle bag all my music is on a thumb drive I leave plugged in.
Are you using that? I love the idea of an app, and the pricing, of the fobo but scared of getting pressures through the valve stem cap. Seems too easy for it to get cracked or not seal properly and then leak air.
No, not yet at least.
I'm waiting to see if HD will come out with an upgrade TPMS sensor for my 2015 Road Glide CVO.
Since both 2016 & 2015 CVO Infortainment Systems have the same part number.

You will probably be in luck, I bet it's a firmware flash and pairing a new set of sensors for you.

My HD parts guy said it was in the BCM for the TPMS and looking at the computer screen, he said they looked like they had different connectors from 15 to 16 CVO models. I called him so I wasn't there to look at everything.

Take this as pure hearsay.....
Till I find out for sure, I'll hold off on the FOBO as a back up plan.
I wonder if there's any hope for something like the Powervision to incorporate the TPMS with adding the Harley bits to the bike.
Someone at Dynojet get on that.

I'd like to do the fobo but I have the right angled stems and I think the sensor will hit the caliper or be too close for my comfort.
The FOBO site does give the dimensions of their sensors.
I too have the right angle valve stems as well.
I believe they'll clear any obstruction, if they don't , they sell a remedy for that as well, in the order of a new metal valve stem.
