Default Project Crashed Rushmore Begins

Picked up a 2014 Street glide with 4,000 miles on it and a salvage title, Looks rougher than it is, basically needs fairing, bars and bags to get back on the road. Runs and drives fine, all cosmetic.

Nice deal, where do you find bikes like this? That would be an awesome way to get into a project bike on the cheap. Good luck and looking forward to seeing it come back to life. ;-)

I have done a few myself. Great way to know your bike inside and out LOL. My current is an 09 Ultra I am turning into a Road Glide with all HD parts. Got a great take off tin set and off to the races. The great thing about rebuilding like that nice bike you got is you really don't have to "fix" any part, you just take the damaged stuff off and replace it.

Get ready for all the OMG I would never own a wrecked bike. Great project, build on!

You say it runs and drives fine. It doesn't look like it's in riding shape in the photo. Anyway, have fun with the project!
