I have a 2014 Street Glide Special that has passing lights on it. I am not home to look at it and won't be for a few weeks but I am looking to buy some FuelMoto LEDs for them.
I had my dad look to see if the bulbs can be replaced or if it is an enclosed bulb that needs new glass and all. He wasn't exactly sure, but sent me the number on the bulb. The number is 2881 012. Does anyone know if the bulb can be replaced on those units.
I think all motorcycles come with passing lamps, or are you talking about auxiliary lights? Passing lamps just push in and turn the bulb, when you order the new ones FM will also tell you which ones to purchase.
4.5" passing lamps, not turn signals. Not all bikes have them i.e. Street glides, but I bought mine used and it came with them.
It is my understanding that there are 2 different kinds ones were the bulbs can twist out like a car/truck as mentioned and ones that the bulb and glass front are enclosed together.

This is what the back of housing looks like, how do I replace this bulb? Anyone have one that looks like this?
I had those on my Heritage Softail the black rubber piece with the Bar & Shield on it was stuck on with Sikaflex or Silicone I just put a small flat blade screwdriver under the lip where it connects to the glass part of the light and worked it around to release it, I did end up tearing one of the covers, I just put Silicone around the lip and on the tear when I reassembled it, the globe from memory was a H3
