Just Me,
Where did you find your oil pressure gauge kit? I've got the same bike as yours, and I'd like to do the same setup, just to keep an eye on temps here in hot SoCal. If you know of any pointers or gotchas that you ran into on the installation, please share. Nice job too!
Thanks,
Jerry
Thanks Cobalt
Found the Titanium and chrome for $120 at Newcastle HD for the fairing mount type.
Got the bike really hot at Arizona Bike Week last spring in freeway traffic jam, but bailed out to keep it moving. Would've been nice to know it's temps, since not everyone uses the synthetic oil, especially the break-in oil

I just picked it up off e-bay for $80.
I think Harley wants $150. If you find one just make sure its complete [sensor and wiring harness] I think Harley wants extra but not sure on that.
Nothing to installing it, just remove outer fairing then find power to run gauge and lights hooked together. 2" hole saw, its tight in there but no big deal.
I have to agree that those with oil temps feel like they have a problem. It is a learning curve. It is much better worrying about oil temp than the air temp gauge which is worthless. I was shocked that 230 was normal. That seems so hot. But that is the norm in hot times. as for location I cant help, I own a RG. My change out was painfully simple.
