To the guys with the 2" drop in the front forks claiming it rides great, I disagree. Whatever makes you happy is great but there is no way a bike with 2" less of travel in the forks will have the same ability so soak up bumps in the road. Lean angle is drastically decreased as well.

The thing that gets me about Harley guys is that most are obsessed with having their feet flat on the ground. People look at my bike and they say the couldn't ride it as it is too big and heavy.

I do not hole the entire weight of the bike up with my legs, I merely balance it when I stop. Being on tip toes is fine the vast majority of the time. If parking somewhere planning ahead and parking so that getting out is simple fixes the need to push the bike back and forth with my feet.

Yes, these bikes weigh a ton and can go over easily however with a little practice and forethought I have quickly realized that flat footing is not required. Do I ever feel the need to have my feet flat on teh fround at a stop light? Nope. I can balance it just as well on my tippy toes as i can flat footed.

I did have the change to wheel an Ultra Limited around the shop the other day and noticed that is dramatically more top heavy than my Road Glide. It literally felt like it weighed 200 lbs more due to the weight distribution.

Whatever you choose I hope you enjoy it and am sharing my thoughts on the facts as I see them. There is a lot of misinformation out there and I feel that it is perpetuated to market and sell product to unsuspecting customers. Being a fellow daily rider I like to "myth bust" this kind of stuff for people.

Have a great day all.

What speakers are you running in the front? What kind of LED's as well?

Thanks,

Mike.
