Can U help me identify the front tire on this bike? It has an outer tread pattern like an Avon SpeedMaster MKII, but the center rib has a squiggly groove instead of a straight one.
Has anybody seen, or heard of these tires? Please tell me the name of it and how long ago you had one, or know if a 21" tire like this is still availiable. If you have one, send me a private message and let me know...We can do business...
Thanks...

The tire should have all the relevant info molded into the sidewall. If it doesn't, you might want to avoid getting another one!
From what I remember, the old Goodyear MC tires looked like that - and they were crap!
Thanks....I don't have one now, but am trying to build a period correct chopper. I know that this was a widely used tire back in the day, but so far no one has come up with the name. I'll look into Goodyear. Thanks for the info...!

I just remembered that the name of the tire I'm thinking about was the Goodyear Eagle. It had cool raised white letters on the sidewall and looked really great, but handled like crap!
They're no longer in production, but there are manufacturers that reproduce vintage-style tires for period-correct restorations. You might be able to find that tread pattern with one of them.
I am still amazed by the fact that No One remembers this tire...Maybe it wasn't as popular as I remember...:-( It's not a Dunlop, and It's not a Kenda. I check with both company's tire reps. The quest continues .
