I have air adjustable shocks on my 16 road glide as we speak and am thinking about putting the hand adjustable on it. Is the hand adjustable shocks thatch better? I have heard pros and cons about the ride quality. I like the softest ride possible but if they are harsher I think I will stay away.

I have the Premium Ride Hand-Adjustable Rear Shocks-54000008, Standard Height Premium Ride Single Cartridge Fork Kit-45500158, Chrome Front End Kit-45800037, and Front Polished Brake Rotors-41500094. It has been a great set up for me. I would do it again if I got another bike. They are not harsh like the stock air shocks, and the front end kit takes out most of the nose dive that the stock set-up has.

The factory air shocks are very soft, but they don't provide a real smooth ride. Harley's adjustable premium shocks may be a improvement ( I have not tried them ), but I'm fairly certain you can do much better with a set of shocks found on this forum with high recommendations.
I also highly recommend upgrading your bikes front end. You will love the results.
The hand adjustable premium shocks 13" are a noticeable difference over the stock air shocks. No more bottoming out!Changed Mine last year.I would do it again on a new bike.
