I don't care how old this thread is, it is a good reminder to never do business with Titan. Are these guys running a Ponzi scheme? And how are they still in business? Like the OP said, do a google search.
I'll toss my two cents in, I was looking for new shift linkage a few months ago, found a Kuryakyn I liked and found it on the Titan Custom website at a great price. Ordered it and asked Chris in an email to put a rush on it as I wanted to get a ride in the next week, I got a quick email back with the shipping info and it was here in a few days. Good service, good price and quick shipping. I'd do business with them again.
[QUOTE=wgregalu;18175647]I recently, 2/21/19, purchased a Procharger kit from Titan Cycle Customs Houston, TX and received excellent service. The transaction went as well as it should have, owner Chris Dading matched another price I received online, and provided communications throughout the process as the part was on back order.
No problems here and would recommend them, thanks Titan Cycle Customs![/QUOTE

Purchased Arlen Ness fat front tire kit from them 11-30-2020, received the fender and cow bells but no wheel. I have emailed Chris a few times and the response was its been 6 weeks and its at the plater once done will ship shouldn't be more then a couple more weeks. well its been 2 more weeks and Chris said he would get an update but I have heard nothing.
I called Renegade wheels which is where my wheel would be coming from and they said that they don't deal with TCC any longer because of them taking money and not delivering items.
Looks like I'm going to be out 1200.00
Whats weird though is if they are out to screw people over why did they send the other parts? Maybe to prolong the transaction to avoid charge backs? I am looking into getting a refund through my cc company its been like 63 days since order was placed. Rally wished I would have done a little research prior to ordering.
Decided over the Christmas break to order Legend shocks and replace the Ohlins I have on my 2020RGS. Legend themselves were on break until sometime in January so I started looking around for other suppliers. Most didn't have the parts or had them in the wrong color (thanks Covid). I stumbled upon Titan Customs who did have the parts and I quickly ordered them. Their website is outdated and something told me (after I ordered of course) that I should look into their rating. I found this thread and instantly regretted putting in the order due to all the negative feed back.
Fast forward to today, January 13th. I just installed the suspension this morning. Titan delivered my parts within 14 days of my order. They emailed me an estimated shipping date and shipped when they said. I would give the transaction 9/10...one point lost for the two week shipping window. My experience was great but I'm just one customer out of many whom have posted on this thread.
BEWARE OF BUYING ANY PARTS FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMING THE CONSUMERS AND NOT REFUNDING OR SENDING THE PARTS AFTER YOU PURCHASE THEM. ONCE I TOLD THEM I CONTACTED MY BANK ABOUT FRAUD, THEY RIGHT AWAY STARTED TO SEND EMAILS TRYING TO COVER THEIR TRACKS STATING THAT I CANCELLED MY ORDER, I NEVER DID SUCH A THING. I had a lousy experience with them also. Emails ignored when waiting on parts and no updates. Phone calls never returned etc. This is the only company in 25 years or riding that is on my list to never buy from.
