LED technology is moving real fast and sometime in 2013-2014 HD worked with JW Speaker to design the projection Daymaker. 6 months later it was old technology. Currently, JW Speaker has the 8700 Evo 2 and Halo J series out. LED headlights are going to be evolving and we will have some great lights in about 2 years.

The old Original Daymakers are much better then the 2015 RGS Daymakers of today!

My bro with a 15' RGS did a comparison and we both agree!

Daymakers are WAY overpriced anyway. A truck light or Cree LED's are a better value. IMO

If you are on back country roads it is very much an issue. The field of view just cuts off..I can't see 10 feet into my turns. Lean that bike over and you can't see ****.

I'm not saying I would pay that much to buy one.. I'm saying its something the bikes should come with being that sticker was 26k..

The problem I see with this headlight, no light casting on the opposite side of the lean, hard to see what could be road side ready to dart out.

I have no problems with my HD Daymaker Reflector at night, and is far better in the day than the HD Projector or the Truck light.
