I had the stock ones powder coated. Probably added a whole $5 to total cost.

The good news is the dealer had the part and the bike is fixed.

Most of us have had at least one (if not many) of those "AH ****" moments. Just consider that $300 an investment in wisdom. Glad you're back on the road.

Ya, thanx it was $455 out the door, that is the price you pay when you you do not heed your own advice. I knew it was a bad idea to use a rubber mallet that will not happen again.
