Is there any way to change the speedometer to kilometers so I know who fast I am going. I know that the odometer changes to kilometers, but it didn't change the needle showing my speed.
Not really an answer to the original question but what I use to do is add 50% of speed and then have a little cushion. So if you are doing 50mph add 50% so you are at 75. You have some leeway to avoid any trouble. If you are good at math add 10% more and you are dead accurate. In my mind I simply learned what speed each sign was. For instance 80,100, and 120 are common freeway speeds and 40 and 60 signs on smaller roads. I did this in the Middle East so no idea what speed limits in Canada are.
Exercise your math skills KPH x .6 is closely equal to MPH ie 100 KPH x .6 = 60 MPH, the trouble is, if you are on any of the expressways, you will be passed by all doing the speed limit. Them folks over there like to drive fast.
If you just want to ride and not have to risk hurting yourself with all the math, then set the GPS to metric and it will display your actual speed in kilometers for you.
