Check out the Cirius or Trucklite reflector style headlights. Much cheaper than the HD model and I am pretty certain Cirius makes the HD one.
The CD rings do help in the fog though.
Thanks man. I'd really like to try one out before I spend money on one, but if I can't find one to borrow I might break down and get one to try. Just hate to waste the money if I end up not liking it.
Seems to me after reading many comments on the Harley Daymaker LED Headlight that Harley should have named it correctly -- Widowmaker sounds more befitting for that embarrassment for a headlight.
Yea i would definitely stay away from ANY of the projector (4 bulb looking) LEDs. The new reflector type, put out ridiculous amounts of light. On my RG Special they definitely turn night into day.
I love the new lights on mine. I adjusted the lights to where I wanted it to shine. When I first got the bike I hated the lights. After I adjusted the lights they work fine for me. And your right the glove boxes are pretty small.
You will be happy with those. Just watch the way they go in, check them after you install them and make sure your high beams are where they need to be. They are as bright or brighter than the daymakers.
I thought about going with the daymaker but after reading a few threads and hearing they aren't as good as they say to be, I ended up getting a set of HIDs from the retrofit source. They are very bright and a nice clean white light.

Just something different that I thought I'd share
Doesn't the 2016 Street glide come with the Daymaker as stock?
