Default Inner fairing question

Has anyone painted or had their inner fairing painted vs buying one already painted from the Moco? Wondering what the cost difference might be? Hydro dipping might be an option too, just haven't seen one that has been done up close yet.

Mine came painted but I researched it on my old bike and it was way cheaper to have it painted.

Try Paul at Harley Painted Fairings on Facebook. He did mine last year for $500. Looks great. He travels to most of the rallys.

I had local auto body shop paint our 07 and 08 UCs both were white gold pearl for around $300 for both way cheaper then buying painted ones just shop around in your area.

Painting is much cheaper by a few hundred dollars easy. Paul at painted inner fairings does amazing work and you can install it yourself in less than an hour.

For $500.00 installed, painted fairings is about the cheapest. Yes you could save a couple hundered by removing the inner yourself, take it to a local body shop, hopeing it matches, still have to buy the paint from Harley ( ain't cheap) ...and installing it back yourself, maybe not save that even....a lot depends on your level of working on the bike....
Me, I can do a lot of stuff but I'll have the ( painted inner fairings) do the inner fairing...
Pull in, drop off bike, walk around for an hour or so and drive out done...well worth the money for me...
