the more I play with it the more I hate it , no repeat button it no longer works on both my wifes or my bike , takes forever to boot when the bike it started , not exit or route numbers on highways anymore it just says exit the highway so if you are on a big highway with more then one exit in the same place good luck if you look at it you can see ware to go , I added the next street in the setup and that is better and the last thing now it tells you in yards to the next turn not feet anymore and last but not least for the first time in almost 30,000 miles my radio froze so bad I had to pull the main fuse to re boot it and that sucks on my bike because I have my saddle bags bolted on , not happy at all
I thought the .2 fixed my main problem - keeping the radio in its last state (usually off) when the bike is started. Unfortunately last Sunday at Rolling Thunder every time I started the bike the radio came on. It seems like this basic function is just too much to ask for.
Oh well, it did keep the state up until last Sunday.
My main issues were, going to the last media or source that I was using when I shut it down and remaining off if I shut it off before shutting down, which i always do.
And 19.1 took care of those problems. And honestly has been working flawlessly.
Even with rigorous testing software updates always have a potential for issues. Microsoft's, Windows 10 is still a work in progress and will be so for the foreseeable future.

I am going to stick with 19.1 for awhile longer.
I went back to 19.1 yesterday, gonna stay there for awhile too.
Anyone have 1.19.1 I can use? Dealer updated mine to 19.2 when troubleshooting an XM issue. I have a 16 day, 8600 mile ride starting Friday and I really need my NAV to function properly. The other day I was on an out of state ride and it failed to tell me to take an exit. Like RSDUDA said, and several others, this revision is junk.

You probably need to do the reset & then go back & put all the correct functions/settings back to where things work as you want/expect. Software updates change many of your settings to something different than what you had set so things function differently than you are used to. Proper reset & careful user settings will bring back functionality in most cases. Fully understanding how all the possible settings work & interact takes a lot of patience & driveway play time. 2016 manual is best so far, but it'll take a manual 2x or 3x as big to fully explain everything properly, then who would want to read something that big? Or understand & remember what they read? Hands on time is definitely needed, but not when riding in traffic.
