Default Any gps issues?

Looking to pick up a new or slightly used street glide here in the near future. The big draw for me is the gps/touch screen and stereo. Did they have to work out any bugs on these units, I believe it's been three years now. Just doing a little homework.

If you're used to Garmin, Waze, or Chrysler/Jeep, you'll be disappointed. It's not awful, but it sure isn't as functional or user-friendly as those systems.

GPS works, maps are not as update as some. Some gripe because it does not function like the one they have in their car or phone. But riders gripe about just about every thing.
Biggest issue with it is when I tell it to take me home it takes me to the Milwaukee.

I live in Santa Fe, Texas and it took me to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Boy, did I have a hard time explaining to my wife why it took me a week to get back from the grocery store!

.
This sums it up quite well. All I would add is read the manual and learn how the new GPS operates.

Yeah, for the ones that can't figure out how to operate it.

I thought the same thing when I first got my Limited.
I even went so far as to mount the GPS to the bars like I had on my previous Street Glide.

Then I spent some time reading the Boom owners manual and learning how to use the system.

Now, I like the Boom built in NAV better than my stand along Garmin 1450.
I still use the Garmin in my truck, but the HD Boom works just as well once you learn how to use it.
