This seat issue has been around for years... a Lot of guys (and gals) want the "Cool" look but also want the Comfort Feel - hard to get both..
I use a dual Corbin HOWEVER - I am lucky enough to live 80 miles from Hollister CA where they make ALL Corbins... anyway you could get to CA - Your wife would be so happy.. search my screen name.. I did a big Two post (heavy pictures) on our seat being made in Hollister - this is our 4 corbin - we arrived at 0800 left at 4:30pm with a new custom saddle made to OUR butts and bodies... Trying to get that ON LINE is not so easy but can be done.. as with any seat builder,, take Names and notes

The link below is for PART 1 at the bottom of part 1 is a link for PART 2 - story continues... I have been on this forum for many years and I have come to learn Corbin is a LOVE IT or Hate it kind of Saddle... I have ridden well over 100,000 miles on a Corbin - longest ride was 8,000 miles in 2012 at the age of 62 - we did that ride in 26 days - at the end of each day our bottoms, back and bodies felt fine - No way in hell that could have been done on a stock seat for us...-- these are Just My opinions...
Haha! yea... I'm guilty of trading new vehicles for newer vehicles because it needed tires! LMAO its only about 6 or 7 hours to drive to LA might be worth a weekend trip to at least see these seats. Thanks harley0711
somewhat north of LA - still a great ride IF you have the time... north of Santa Barbara on Highway 1 is beautiful

I've been looking at so much my head is spinning, I've got a 14 SGS with a HD chopped tour pack and a le pera super villan. love the looks of a thin seat with deep bucket. The wife however! Apparently it hurts so bad now she wont ride to vegas bike fest with me because of the seat. It's only a 700 mile ride.
So, happy wife happy life. I almost pulled the trigger on a new CVO road glide ultra, then I hear but that looks to old man.... I really like those seats but for the money and size it would look goofy on my SGS without pod speakers and armrest backrest. I like the corbin dual tour seat and the mustang seat as well.
opinions?!
I too am looking for a more comfortable seat, but also need one that will push me back at least an inch. I have a 15 Ultra Limited Low but seems the previous owner put a different seat on it that seems to be a little close to the tank. I am 6'3 with a 36in inseam so I know I won't get a great position but with highway pegs it will at least be a better position. I did try the hammock and like it but not sure it gives me the push back I need. With the price of it I need to make sure. I read the hammock will push you forward an inch and I definitely do not need to be any closer.
Any one have any ideas for a comfortable seat for long distance that pushes me forward?

Why may I ask did you get a LOW??? That bike is built for us 'cabbage patch' riders... I am betting it was the stock seat which IS built to be lower and closer, not sure where you live but a trip to Hollister would be good for you being Tall as it was for me being Short... I have a 28" = a full 8" shorter than you. I want Your legs when I am on my Harley But I wan MY legs when I fly to England straight from SFO.

Check out a Danny Gray Tourist seat. I have a DG weekday seat and love the riding position but it's not really a long haul seat. A tourist will be my next for long travels.
We went to lndiana from Minnesota last weekend using a Mustang trike seat demo that my local dealer let us try. Put on close to 1100 miles and it was a very comfy seat. My girl had zero complaints.
What is the seating position difference?Looks like theres not much difference.
It really is deceiving in that photo but you do sit further back. I could tell right away when my girl got on the back and into position. You sit a bit higher too.
