I have a 2016 RGU. The navigation provides input for the Harley Davidson stores as a pre-set. Though I don't really need it for the local stores, I did realize the pre-set for the Richmond Harley store was wrong since they moved to a new location just about a year ago.
Can the pre-set addresses for the stores be changed or can that only be done with an update to the map?
I needed to stop by a dealer on my way home from phoenix and the dealer I googled was new enough they weren't even in the GPS database, but they were the one on my route out of town.
I really feel the MoCo failed using an outdated mapping solution and would have been better served by licensing google maps for embedded stand alone devices.
Similar thing happened to me with my Garmin...it sucked, but oh well, rather have that problem than something worse. I like having the Harley navigation for the times I've used it so far. Good to know it may not have the most recent info just like other types of GPS.
Oh and here is what I really don't understand, Naviextras has current 2016 Q1 maps for other devices, so why can't we get updated maps for our devices?

$$$
Nobody's spending it for outdated maps so they figure there's no demand/need to provide the updates. Normal supply/demands economics doesn't work when the product offered is not the product wanted.
I'm certainly not going to pay $150 to update a 4 yr old map DB for a 3 yr old map DB. Or even a 2 yr old map DB. For that money, I want current!
