Default Cam question

I have a 2014 ultra classic the air cooled model just to be clear. I currently have a fullsac sport pipe paired up with big louies running 2.25 baffles and a big sucker intake. Tuning was done with a fp3. What would be a good cam for this engine with no other additional engine work. It would need to be compatible with the fp3 so I could flash a tune for it. I ride mostly two up and travel quite a bit. I'm not a real aggressive rider but like to twist the throttle a little on occasion and feel the power. I once had a bike with 255's and it had a good tune and ran very well, not hot like some have complained of about the 255's in the past. Basically I need a interstate cruising machine that I can twist the throttle and go when needed. Appreciate you sharing your experiences with me. Thanks

There are so many cams out there that would work , it really comes down to how you ride and what you want from the bike. You will get a lot of opinions for sure, your best bet would be to research and call around check with Jamie at Fuel Moto ,Steve at FulSac, S&S ,maybe even your HD dealer (not all harley cams are $hit,I like the 204s )

If you want to use HD parts, I just installed the 103 upgrade kit consisting of 10.5:1 pistons and the S/E 585 cams. Nice improvement over stock and great on the highway. When I was looking at the S/E 255's only, there was no support from Harley for a ECM reflash to work with 255's in a 2014 Ultra. The stock 2014 cam is very close to the 255's.

AS far as the aftermarket goes, the sky is the limit for choices and you are going to read what people use. Good luck deciding.

Wow, I've got a 14 UC with FM header, street cannon pipes and tune from Jamie via PV2, and think the bike runs very well with plenty of torque. Not up to the 110 in my Low Rider S, but it's a great touring machine as is. Good luck with your search.

If you don't plan on any motor work it seems that guys are having good results with Andrew 57's and kuryakyn tc-24-d. I bought the woods 777's ,but plan on motor work, so I decided to do it all at the same time. I hear the 777's do pretty good but really come to life with more compression.
