Left the house at 6:00 AM, lots of rain, rode in to work, Queens, NY. My first 42 miles are behind me and the bike is no longer clean!?!? Wife is taking train to Jamaica, I will pick her up at 1:00 then to Jersey to have dinner with my buddy and his wife. Saturday morning we will be on the mainland with NYC behind us. Hotel we are staying tonight is right off the interstate so wheels will be turning fast in the AM heading to Wheeling WV. 5 more hours here at work and then I am officially on vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you go across the bridge last Thursday? We took shelter under the bridge and waited it out before going across and up to Sault Ste. Marie.
Would've been the week before, when northern MN and WI had all the flooding. High pucker factor ride over the bridge, but I just couldn't ride 20 MPH over the bridge next to a Semi. I think I was 45-50 most of the way (probably even less smart as the speed limit is 40 I think. I had a bigger storm moving south and east behind me and just had to keep moving.

Just got in to St Louis, be here for the night. Will be in Sturgis on Sunday, taking the scenic route.
Have been in Sturgis in '12. But the week after the rally. What a place! The Black Hills are the most amazing roads a biker can experience. Hwy 87, called the Needle Hwy is just breathtaking.
