Phantom issue
Anybody else got this? Occasionally the radio will turn on with the ignition, even tho it was off when parked. I don't use it a lot and this is annoying. The other day it not only initialized but turned itself off a few seconds later.
Program is current, but I'm thinking about reflashing anyway. I sometimes charge the phone w/the USB, but uncertain if the problem occurs when in that mode. I'll pay more attention...

That's always been the case with mine, except with a twist. Normally if I turn the radio off when parking it will come on anyway when starting. However, I have an issue where sometimes after starting, the radio / display will not come on unless I kill the ignition and start up again. If I leave it in that off / blank mode there is nothing I can do to make it come on again except for killing the ignition and starting. I mentioned this to the service adviser on one of my trips to the HD shop and was told the problem for coming up blank was fixed in a later flash so they updated mine with the latest (this was at least 6 - 8 months ago). Unfortunately, that didn't fix the starting up blank issue.

if you turn the ignition on and give it alittle bit before hitting the starter button the radio should pick up where it let off. at least mine does. you have to let the system boot up before starting it. pian in the ***, but works.

I key on and wait for the engine light to go out. If that's not enough time for the radio they need to fix the issue.
Grateful it's a radio problem, not eng/drivetrain. This is minor stuff, and I was curious as to how many might be experiencing the same thing.

It's been an on going thing; some work right and some don't. The last update fixed the last of my problems with it and so far it's been working flawlessly for the last few months or whenever that update came out. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
