Default Fork oil change

Does anyone know if the Rushmore fork oil can be changed the same way as in this video? The bike is a 2012, and I don't think the Rushmores are the same.

Rushmore does not have the bottom drain and the top nut cap - so to answer your question, No

The threaded cap at the top of the fork that would get removed to relieve the vacuum, so the oil would drain out the lower fork drain hole, if it had one. Dealer to-do list thing.

Yep I watched same vid and thought maybe that was something I could take on. So I bought the scream eagle oil and then discovered the no drain hole issue. Dealer wants 2hrs labor to change fork oil. That idea got put aside since I now need a new back tire! It's only money you can't take it with you when you die!

forks have to be pulled - actually a very easy job - take that money and buy a service manual and do it your self.. bikes before 2014 the top of the fork had a LARGE nut that had to be remove BEFORE you pulled the forks... Now you can drop the forks because that LARGE nut is now Reseased INTO the forks and takes BIG allen - which you have to buy,,, 19mm and not all that easy to find... - I have pulled the forks on my 04 and now on my 15 - MUCH easier on the 15 -

Would you recomend replacing the cartridge & spring or will replacing with se oil be enough of an improvment to stop the diving? Silly question, has anyone got a way to suck the oil out of the forks with out removing them from the bike? Silly right?
