Default Bassani DNT install help

So I just installed my Bassani DNT slip ons on my 16' Ultra Limited and I ran into a couple issues. I noticed that unlike the stock mufflers (that had a small dent on each muffler) the DNT's only had a small dent on one muffler so I had placed that on the right hand side of the bike.

I had an issue installing the left side muffler as I was unable to get it as far on as the right side with it being 1/3 inch farther out and when I had started the bike and put my hand behind the right muffler I was get alot more air/power than when I put my hand behind the left side. I had torqued everything down so I know its not a leak issue, when I remap the bike will it fix this issue?

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

Don't think there's anything wrong with your setup. The right side has stronger output than the left on our bikes even when stock due to a shorter and more direct route of exhaust gasses. They are practically a 2-1 with a cheater on the left side with the factory crossover. I'm exaggerating a bit, but what you're describing could be normal with the factory header. Especially if you're not getting any other symptoms of a leak.

I have the megaphone DNT so its a non issue for me but I've heard the straight can model can have fitment issues with Ohlins shocks, but not factory. Is your shock mount making contact with the pipe on the left side preventing proper installation depth?
