LOL....well I'll be snookered! You're right, photo don't lie, but I guess magazine journalists do! Guess you can't believe anything you read in the mags these days.

Thanks for the correction!

Did anyone consider a $6B international company with a strong presence on social media might put extra (over the top) quality controls in place for the first year? Recalls are expensive, but they will post them if there is an issue. Maybe the folks buying them now will end up with the most reliable product? Of course there will be issues, Harley will fix them and keep moving forward. It is a company that has been around for over 100 years with a very strong cash flow. Not many US companies can say that. I am not worried and looking at one of the new bikes. And by the way so is the service manager and lead salesman at my dealer. Both of which have nice bikes right now and are no fools.

Well just to let everyone know, I work at a dealership as a Sales Rep. and have a few demo's, some modified, some bone stock! and have not seen or heard from our Tech's of any issues with the 107's of any issues. I am a gear head, and love performance, and am about to upgrade from a 2009 SG to new 2017 with the 114 Stage 3 RGS.

Just saying..., and no i'm not just blowing smoke up everyone's ***. We have sold quite a few of these unit's already, with no issues.

Yeah, but Canada gets the Harleys made in India I'm told.

Funny the service manager and the sales guy are both doing the 114 stage III also! I laughed at the sales guy and said hey you are the one who tries to talk customers into buying the stage III upgrade that they don't really need so you make more money. He laughed back at me and said the retail for the stage III is only $1,500 and I get a discount on top of that. Cheap for the improvement that you get. He said, so of course I am all in.... We will see how it goes with the 2017 models. So far none of the techs I know have seen any issues at all. And trust me, these guys are experienced and will hold nothing back if you ask. Good guys.

Here's a thread with real M8 owner news. I'm sure MoCo sources are reliable too, but this first hand and is good to see.

Default 107 problems

Hmm, still waiting for problems to pop up on my 17 fltru 107. Only got 57,000 on it so far, if I listen to all the so called experts it should have been scrap by now. Yeah, I've put tires, brakes, air filter and regular aitenence but so far no problems. Well except for a rock thru the windshield, does that mean recall every one of them for weak windshields? Get a life, nothing's perfect.
