Default FP3 problem

Recently installed the fp3 install went just fine.
Loaded a map, bike ran better, was able to view sensor data.

Today I'm not able to view sensor data, or load a map it crashes and says app stopped working.

Looking at system info, all it shows is last map was demo mode, no vin number shows there.
It shows the vin when you first turn it on for the Blue Tooth connection.

I uninstalled the app and the tuner, reinstall and same thing.

I installed the app on another phone, same thing.

Android phone is being used.

I e-mailed V&H but response will not be till next week.

Seems like the bike is running with the map I loaded, because it doesn't have the off idle stumble it had with the stock ECU tune.

Any ideas as what to do?

Thanks

A buddy had similar trouble. The last map loaded will stay with the bike until you flash something different, even if unplugged.

VH told him they are having a problem with their Android app, repair time unknown.

He used his wifes Iphone to keep working on his auto-tune.

Remove app, uninstall the FP3 from your BT in the phone and reinstall. I just did that. After reconnecting it should work fine.

Finally got to speak with a tech at V&H.
We through some different steps. No good.

He put me on hold while he talked with his MGR. came back and said.
We'll load your stock map into another FP3 and send it out to you.

Good out come so far, just took a few days to get to speak with someone.

Hopefully all will be fine once the new on gets here.

The bike and your phone's bluetooth conflict. Turn off the bike bluetooth in the com settings and try again.

Went through this again a few minuets ago, just to be sure.
Both phones crash the app.

Another one is on the way, so we'll see what happens.

This will still give you problems with an FP3 that is not defective, if that's the issue.

I always disable the BT on the bike before I connect the FP3.

Good luck.

I don't use the BT on the bike anyways, so hopefully the new one will solve this issue.

Thanks again.
