I loaded 1.20.2 last night and all seemed fine until I shut down the engine. When I started it the next morning only the Harley logo and the time showed on the display and not one of the buttons worked nor was their any sound. I finally found if I pushed the information button on the right hand grip and backed out from there I would be able to activate the GUI but still no sound. At that point I was able to shut down using the power button, powered it up again and it was working fine. That is until I shut the engine down and started it up about an hour later only to find the same issue. Yep 1.20.3 should be right around the corner.
For the life of me I can't understand why Harley insists on using their customer base as a beta test site for software development.
I've had this happen to my RGS but I'm 2-3 updates behind. With that said, its not 1.20.2 that causes the lock up. When my infotainment has locked up in the past, I have to shut off the bike and walk away with the FOB until the lights flash. Then I can come back and start the bike and the infotainment is back to normal. Simply shutting the bike off does not work. As you said also, the information button works throughout.
No issues here either with the newest update. Software release for features and bug fixes are pretty normal for many applications. It's not unique to HD by any means.

A complete shutdown of the system takes about 30 seconds after ignition off whether you're sitting on the bike or walk away. The light flash that you mention is your security system activating.
.2 works perfectly on mine and I did not do a factory reset prior to loading the new .2 update. Some have said that if they do a factory reset first, the updates work without issue.
did both updates on my 14 limited no problem
did both upgrades on my son 16 roadglide ultra complete shut down of radio
Harley does not list his bike but have done it before no problem

Did you do a factory reset after the update? I do one after each update and have never had any of the extraneous problems noted here.
With the ignition off, push and hold the power button for the Boom system, turn on the ignition (don't start the bike) continue to hold the power button until the normal ACCEPT screen comes up. Release the power button, push ACCEPT and follow the prompts. You will have to re-pair your phone after.

Is there a power button? I see a home button..... Am I missing something?
