I installed some woods 777's in my 2015 RGS and now I am clatter in the throttle body at idle to 1800 rpms. I've this is a hit or miss issue with installing cams. I can't find any solution on line, any ideas?
Use a factory air box with SE filter/backplate.
SE or aftermarket. Either is fine, but use a factory cover. The cover is what will hide/quiet the noise.
I put Andrews 57s in my Limited, had to go back to the stock cover the intake noise was so bad with a Big Sucker.

I run the 777's and have the same noise. You get used to it after a while. Pretty common when you go to cams with more duration and lift. Some air cleaners mask the noise more than others.
I installed Andrews 48H cams and that's the first thing I heard. It doesn't bother me as much now as it did at first, but it's still a little annoying.
