Been thinking about this as well. Thought I would start small, tour pac and saddlebag latches and hinges in a silver snakeskin. Carbon fiber the crotch coolers. Really like the look of the carbon fiber on the vent. WIll hav eto think about that too.
I showed my wife that one and she said, "oh no...no". I like it but originally wanted the carbon fiber look. I'll keep mulling it over. The one you posted would be awesome for my AR though.

Thanks for the pics. I like how you did a gloss black and carbon fiber look on the inner. I don't have the gloss so mine would be full on carbon fiber. This is my next project now.
What about vinyl wrap? Durable but easier to remove I think. I considered having it done to my hard bags just to protect them and keep the paint looking new. Have not looked into it though.
