I disabled the rear speaker controls not knowing it would also disable the speakers themselves. Question is, now the function has disappeared to enable it. Book says home-setup but its just gone! Went thru everything a million times, even pulled the 50 amp breaker for a few.
Any ideas??
You might have to go to a dealer and have it reflashed. The passenger controls are a programmable item. I've seen the same thing happen with the CB options.
Probably not helpful, but that's odd..
Because I disabled the rear controls on my 16 RGU once just to cheese the wife off and had no problem reversing it. I wish I could recall how it went but for all I know it might be different anyway. If I get a chance tomorrow I'll look to see what mine says when I do it.
You have the 6.5 infotainment boom or whatever they call it?
I had to look it up to remember what it looks like. So, in settings, everything is there but that top part "Rear Controls?"

I had my head unit replaced (6.5) under warranty and the CB screen wasn't even showing on the options screen, just like your rear controls aren't showing up on the options screen. I think this happened when you disconnected your rear speakers. Why it didn't come back when you reconnected them? Not sure.
You were right about the flash. I had the old 1.18 so I downloaded the new version 1.20?? and problem corrected itself. Funny you ask about disconnecting my speakers, never did that. Thanks man!
