Taking a trip......Looking for ideas
Hi All, my friends and I are taking a trip this summer from northeast Ohio to the lake placid NY area. After that we were hoping to head further north or east or both. Just fishing for ideas. Thanks in advance , Bill

If I were taking that trip, once I leave Lake Placid, I would head towards Lake Champlain, take the ferry over to Vermont, ride the highways there and then head back down to Ohio.
Out of Vermont, take 7 back as far as you can. Not sure where in Ohio you are starting - but, you will find some great roads in VY, NY and OH.

I'm planning to go to Placid to, but from N. W. Ohio, Niagra Falls is cool to see, but man it's a tourist trap, crowded as ''''. Letchworth st. park is cool, We were headed that way from Niagra last year, and it stormed every day, didn't make it. So this year, hopefully, So I'm in for the idea's also
