what parts actually need to be ordered?

depends on what you need it for .. I just went through this
and decided that since mine wont be on the bike day in and day out
I would go the ebay route for the parts needed for mounting and the pack
itself.

the tether that it comes with is garbage so I upgraded to the 14+ style BUt left
the one that comes with it for redundancy

I spent $496.93 total and the vivid black matches the bike 100%


I did have trouble with the tourpak rack and am waiting for the sellers response
thought we had a fair solution but he is dragging his feet

I just ordered my chopped toupak, happen to have a list already with some price comparisons. Everything below the ==== line is what's included with the factory tourpak. Only thing not on the list is the screws for the lock (doesn't come with them). Your parts may differ tho, ie mines Blackened Cayenne, CVO backrest, chrome mount etc. If you don't already have the 4 point dock you'll need that as well.

Now if you are going to add lights and speaker pods, you may want to look into buying a color matched one that is specific to a model that came with one, your color, stock. That would save you a bunch of drilling!

sorry for beating a dead horse but the king tour pack on the MoCo website sells for $850 and says that additional parts required are:

back rest
mount
lock
and service manual

is this a full kit? part number is 53000399DH

also does anyone know if this tour pack is pre drilled for the backrest or not? i do not need the back rest and would prefer to just not get it if the box doesn't have holes in it.

 

You still order the tour pak, backrest, lock, 2 screws, and mount each sep.

The pt number is the tour pack color and size only.
