Every video i see says the stock harness should just unplug from the bike, Mine seems to run under the gas tank , bike is a 2014 road king , do i have to pull the tank???
Also what does the back of a harley daymaker look like, is it what i have pictured here?
That is the back of a Daymaker. When I had to replace my OEM Daymaker on my 2015 Limited I had to purchase a separate adaptor harness. There is no way you would need to lift the tank. I would ring my dealer and make sure they sold you everything you need.

That is the correct plug on the back of a Daymaker, its an older unit but the plug is the same. I say older for now the plug is not built in as yours is, its extended from the bulb. http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...11-67700265--1
Sadly the Road King is one of the few bikes that does not have a plug that others have that is located in the fairing such as Street Glides and such. there is nothing located under the tank either. You need to visit the dealer and ask what adapter is used, the web site shows part # 69200897 which will not work. That converts a standard bulb to Daymaker 4 prong, not your two plug assembly to Daymaker 4 prong.
