Plug wire short cuts
I'm thinking about changing out my spark plug wires, but the book doesn't talk about it. It looks like the gas tank has to come off. I can't see where they plug in at. Has anybody done it? The bike is a 08 EGC.

You don't need to completly remove the tank, remove the rear tank bolts (under front of seat) and loosen the two side bolts (one each side under a plastic cover just ahead of the tank. The plastic covers pop off. Then lift the back of the tank a couple inches, place a towel underneath to hold it. Now you'll be able to see the plastic "C" clips holding the front cylinder plug wire.
