I have never locked my helmet to my bike. But after reading this thread, I am considering getting a helmet locking solution.
Before I go through the trouble of buying/installing a helmet lock, how many people have actually, personally, had a helmet stolen? And by helmet, I mean a simple, black half helmet. Not some fancy (expensive) unit with wireless communications built in, custom paint, etc.

Ride Safe!
I'm in a no helmet law state. So if I only used a cheap black half helmet. Steal it. No biggie. But I wear a 400+ dollar modular with customers graphics. So. I'm looking for a locking solution also. Just not an obvious one. And one that keeps the helmet off the ground and won't let it fall into the paint job.
I'd always hung the helmet over the grips, as they weren't terrible expensive helmets, and no one bothered them.
BUT.. after getting the Shoei, didn't want to lose that one, so just use the Beretta gun lock I have over the chin guard.
I have a Shoei with integrated Sena and in the town I live in you definitely either want to carry it in everywhere or lock it. I use this lock at Revzilla. Harley has the same lock too but more $ (of course). I have mine attached to the saddlebag guard. Works as designed.
