My iPhone integrates very well with my 2016 FLHTK, with only one exception. I can't seem to get the text auto-reply (or inbox for that matter) to work. I've upgraded my software (I believe 1.20), and still no luck. Any ideas??

My understanding is that the auto reply function is a Apple/HD compatibility issue that is yet unresolved
Incoming text do put a pop up notification on my screen and then I can go to the text messages and it is read to me, however there is no auto reply with Iphone, my understanding is the function does work with Android.
With the latest updates Siri now works so you can send a text via siri
Thanks MxDad. I'm not even getting that far, so it's good to know that it "can" work somewhat. I don't get pop-ups, and when I try to look at my SMS inbox, it greys out all selections. I'll ask the dealer next time I'm there.

On your Iphone go to settings
Bluetooth
On the listing for HD Radio click on information (Blue circle with "i")
Make sure "show notifications" is turned on
That should allow you to then get the text notifications on the Boom
When you get a text there should be a "speech bubble" that shows up at the bottom of the boom screen, then you go to the inbox and click on the message and the text will be read.
If that does not work then I am fresh out of ideas and far from an expert LOL
I just downloaded Android Auto for my phone from the app store. In the app, I set my HD Radio bluetooth device as a vehicle to auto detect and reply with "I am riding right now". I will see if it works in the next few days.
like others have said, it's autoreply is an Apple compatibility issue. I've had a 2014 SGS and now a 2016 RGS and autoreply and texts did not work with either.

Its not a compatibility issue. Apple will not let its device auto reply in a car, truck or motorcycle. Apple is deliberately blocking this.
Great input. Apple issue, understood. I didn't have that setting correct mxDad, so I'll check tonight if it's working properly. At least I can see who's pinging me. Thanks!!
