Bought 2017 CVO ultra at 900 miles check oil light came on.
Dealer states oil pump is defective. Waiting 2 weeks now for a replacement.
Has anyone else had this issue
At first when the new M8's started showing up with oil pressure problems, early production quality control was blamed. Now,some later production engines are exhibiting same problems.Hopefully HD will get this resolved.I can only wonder why MOCO eliminated the oil pressure read out in 2017.

My thoughts exactly. We get information overload from the who's playing what song on the radio, the GPS, the TPMS (on some CVO modes), but the MoCo decided that an oil pressure reading was more info than we could handle and it only caused unneeded worries and questions to the dealer. It's just a coincidence that the most common problem, that I've read about, with the M8 is oil related.
