Ohlin's, Pro Action, Legend, Works, Super Shox, Progressive.... etc.... I would not waste my money on the Harley shocks. They are better than the air shocks of old but not up to snuff compared to the aftermarket offerings.
I going to have to do something. I put 500 miles on my 14 limited last week. Then I took my 07 RK Custom (07 Custom has SG shocks) for a local ride and it rode like Cadillac compared to the limited.
Did the same as 'HAMMZ' stated above, on my 15 Limited. Was advised not to try and set back according to manual and worked it out pretty quick. Really happy with it. I weigh about 160-170 lbs and when two up about 130 added
opinions vary and my opinion is the premium shocks SUCK!!!
but at only 160lbs that may have been the problem.. no matter what I did
I experienced a very harsh ride on them and went with an air ride
Same here wife only 130 Lb and all stock HD shocks made to carry heavy load, I installed Progressive 944 UT on her 15 Limited Low and first thing I changed on her 17 M8 CVO SG to replace the stock shocks with take offs. Moco needs to consider the healthy weight shocks as well.

Great advice right there. I have riden the new M8's and it is a better an improvement but still not as good as aftermarket.. On my 2016 I went with Pro-Action and they are much better than the HD stuff. Call George or DJ at Pro-Action and speak with them. It wanted cost you a dime and you'll be glad you did. Nice people with an exceptional product.

Legend Revo-A's completely changed my bike! I now ride all day without ever cringing before every frost heave in the road. If buying, get the 13". After setting the sag I am sitting at the same height as stock, but the extra travel is golden!
Now trying to decide what to do about the front suspension. Have heard that the Legend Axeo can be a bit harsh for lighter riders (160lbs) so will be exploring options.......
