I had a 2006 Standard, lowered front and rear. I traded for a 2016 Limited low because the dealer gave me what I laid for my 06 as a trade in.
I prefer the suspension over the air shocks as it seemed to not hold.
I really hate the tiny grips. They make my hands cramp in stop and go traffic.
The low fits much better then the standard modified. It is easier to control in stop and go traffic and on all types of surfaces for this vertically challenged rider.
The dealer here said that changing the fork oil in a Low is very time consuming (few hours more than std fork) as it has a different style cartridge inside one fork or something like that. I looked at a used 2015 Low, but when I put the Low seat on a standard 2016 FLHTK I could flat foot ground no problem (30" inseam) so I bought the 2016 std Limited bike

Same here, put a low seat on my limited. Lost the heat but I can leave with that since I don't ride much when its cold enough to matter. Love it
