Default Rear axle nut not accessible with air ride shocks

I have a problem and I have been trying to adjust my belt deflection with the Dirty Air air shocks and I am using the recommended flat 13/16th axle nut wrench and it will not fit with the shocks mounted because of clearance issues and has anyone ran into this issue and is there any way around this because it would be hard to adjust this with the bottom shock bolt removed? Thanks

You have to lift the rear wheel up some. With my bike on a jack I used a scissor jack to lift my rear wheel up when I did this (rear tire replacement time).

there is no clearance with the shock bolt installed because the lower eyelet of the shock is too close to the axle nut for clearance as it is thicker than the stock shock eyelet.

You might need to just use a regular socket. I used an impact socket to adjust mine, I have Ohlins shocks, and it was a very tight fit. I didn't have a regular socket in that size or I would have used it instead.

Ok thanks and I am heading to the dealer tomorrow with an appointment with a possible rear bearing replacement because of black grease on the rotor and I will have them adjust it when I am there .
