Never thought about it. I just always have a bunch of crap in my TP so I came up with this idea. Have one on each side.

I was thinking of an after market locking mechanism, but are they any good? Not a good place to put it either.
Any suggestions?

I have a full face modular helmet. I use a cable and combination lock and thread cable through sissy bar and helmet (I open the visor and wrap it around the chin/bottom of the helmet), then let the helmet sit on the seat. My Sena detaches from my helmet and I take that with me. Since I have a Street XG750, there's not a lot of room to add things and the bars are rounded so a helmet lock won't attach anywhere.

Just add a sticker, "Lice infected helmet. Do not touch with bare skin"

BTW, for the smelly helmet, most have removable liner so it can be washed. Wear a dirty, smelly helmet, yuk!

No it has not. I just make sure the lock is visible to anyone who walks up so they can see its locked.
Also I only do this when I park and don't have room in tourpak for helmet.

I have a nice Shoei FF helmet. I just hang it on the mirror. Nobody bothers peoples stuff in small town America. I leave $500.00 worth of gear in the left bag without a worry in the world where I work or anywhere locally. That's the upside of not living where city thieves live. If theft were a threat I'd either cable lock it or just carry with me.

The only thing I lock up my 40 caliber Springfield, if I can't carry it with me.

I just stick the buckle end in my tour pac or saddle bag and lock it. If they're going to cut the strap, it doesn't matter if ya have a titanium lock.

I wear mine. Don't take it off. Get some weird looks but I just figured they were jealous. Maybe start a new fashion trend. Ride on.
