I like that idea!

99% of the time, I just leave mine on top of the seat. This is usually when travelling and the tour box is full of clothes.

I haven't heard of a number of helmets being stolen. Not sure I am going to the wireless headsets - and don't think a lot of folks want the wired sets. So, we will continue as usual.

I use a cable lock that came with one of my handguns- Glock, I think. I slide the cable through one of the buckles and wrap it around the handle bar. Best use for a gun lock.

Depends on where it is I park. I have just put it over my mirror, even at Sturgis. SOmetimes I throw it in my saddle bag or take it with me. I have locked both helmets through the D ring to my cables on the front.

Wouldn't know about helmet theft here in the free state of Colorado. Nobody has to wear them here and most riders, including me, don't.

I'd think that helmet theft is going up, though, just like the incidence of every other crime in this country.

Out of site out of mind. Either secure it in a tourpack or saddlebags or take it with you.
I don't know what posses bikers to think they can leave their valuable's laying around on their bike. Do you leave stuff laying on the hood of your car?
Lock it up out of site or loose it, that's the way of this care-less society today.

Leave my Schuberth with internal electronics on seat just about everywhere, Daytona, Sturgis, NC, and in my home state. Cost about $1,100 but not worried about it. Other than internet sites, not much helmet theft in real world.

In Florida, most don't wear helmets, so no problem. Or put a cheap wireless camera on top of the helmet...
