These are the bars that I went with, after 3 rotator cuff surgeries (2 on left, 1 on right shoulder) I have no more Shoulder/Back pain, these bars really made a BIG difference!
Khrome Werks Handlebar 1" 2+2 Nrw Fl part# 300519 Narrow sweeper bars 2in up plus 2in back. End Rise: 13.53in. Width: 31.77in. Center Width: 12in. Pullback: 7.64in.
I put these on my wife's 15 sg and they made a huge difference for her with slow turn maneuvers. She is only 5' 2".
Install was a breeze, biggest pita was right side wires through bars. You could just run them outside though then it would be super easy.

There's a good youtube video also.
Out of curiosity, why did you put the 2+2 on for your wife if she's only 5' 2"?
I'm debating between the 2+2, and the +2 only (2" back, but NOT 2" up). I'm 5'8" with a longer inseam (31-32"), and I wasn't sure if I would want to go "up" at all. Also, does the 2+2 require the use of handlebar mounted mirrors?

I know but thats what she wanted sooo.
Yes the 2+2 require stem mount mirrors if you don't want to look at your hands
Order from dennis kirk and if you want to exchange / return them they only charge 5 bucks iirk.

I'm 5'9" with a 32" inseam and I'm glad I went with the 2+2 bars, no shoulder/back pain, no numbing in my hands and it's much easier doing parking lot maneuvers.
Yes you would have to use the stem mount mirrors, the 2+2 bars wouldn't be tall enough to let you see out the fairing mount mirrors.
Thanks pswomack, the KW 2+2 might be the solution? Did you install yourself? How long did it take? Curious how many hours a shop might bill for handlebar replacement?

Yes I did the install myself, all stock wiring and cables will work, so no need to change anything, you will have to cut the factory zip ties on the clutch/brake cables where they are zip tied to the steering head and reroute them a little bit, took me maybe 1 1/2hrs, but I've been an ASE Certified Master Auto Tech for 34yrs, so it was no big deal for me, you can do it yourself and save a lot of money, hardest part is getting the wires through the bars.
Thinking hard about tackling a bar change before storage. I'm a little amazed that some folks say they can do it in 1.5-2hrs. Others say the dealership charged them $800 labor?
$400 an hour sounds a bit steep for this retired blue collar worker. Once a tech does this a few times it must be easy money at that rate.
