We do have 5 gallon water delivered for drinking. I suppose I could use one of those but do not have a way to pressurize it for spraying off.
I think i will go with taking to the car wash spraying the engine down with S100 foam after it cools a bit. The main thing i need to get off is the built up road grime.
I have a compressor at home that i can use to knock the dust off.
May need to get a 12 volt yard sprayer pump (~$100) and rig it up so can use a 5 gallon drinking water bottle to spray it off after washing.
For a few bucks more you can get an ATV Spot Sprayer which would get you a tank, pump and spray wand. 1.0 GPM @60 psi should be plenty for rinsing.
I bought my bike new in late 14 and only power washed the bugs off the front of it once when I rode from Toledo Ohio to Austin Texas and bucket washed it only once after I rode in the rain on the highway for 4 hours. Other than that I have only used Harley spray cleaner in a can.

I bought the Works washer last summer and it works really well. I was skeptical but it works as advertised. It doesn't have the power of a pressure washer but it's more powerful than a hose and nozzle. I was able to use it to clean siding on the house (attached to a hose) and under the mower deck (using just a 5 gallon bucket of water to draw from). It's very conservative on water use - it only takes a couple of gallons for a bike. The battery makes a big difference though -the standard battery doesn't last all that long and doesn't have the power of the big battery. Recharge time is a little longish though.
