Lane, every post you write is a fictitious story which I keep on refuting every thing with facts.

1. I do not keep anyone's banking information or credit cards much less post it.
2. I have never done business with you and I blacklisted your phone number back in April or May after you wasted my hours of time on inquiring suspension. You told me you sell tools to machine shops and indicated you visited machine ships. I did send you a simple mastercam drawing for a price estimate. The pricing was $3.00+ above what retail was per. That price was from a company that was selling to anybody full retail and for a quantity of one + free shipping included. Your quote was for quantities of 30+. This was my first test of your services. Needless to say there was no need to keep that information.
3. When you came up with this story that I would not help you on installation, I copied and pasted you and my e-Mails exactly as written including both of our names, e-Mails, and phone numbers. You did not wish to have anyone know who you are in real life and complained to the powers who be here on this forum. That thread of an exact copy of sent e-Mails were deleted. I did not type in anything to add, just the original transcript. Nothing contained in that e-Mail corresponded with what you claimed.
4. You Lane, have never been my customer as I did not sell you anything. To be a customer you have to buy something. If you did than I beg to produce an invoice. I owe you nothing.
5. Lane, you than tried to give your expertise on the difference between Ohlins and Pro-action shocks. On everything you stated I rebutted subject by subject. You came up with so called facts I knew were not true & I called you out on those facts. It got to a point about anodizing and I called you out on that subject with a challenge with a legal Florida wager based on the finding of a Metallurgist . You choked up and once more did not address the facts (as you have on several phony claims you made) and slunk away with out a peep. <start at post #75>
6. I have met people like Lane in my lifetime and it is just in your nature to not tell the truth, expound upon your own imagined importance to supplement your own reality. On this forum there are many who make up stories how they never did anything but when I support my facts by direct unaltered copy & past of what is written, just like you Lane, in your view, the inconvenient truth should be deleted as it never happened. I put my contact information on every post I make. Anyone knows how to ask direct questions and I always stand by everything I write.

Lane, I would check the facts on what you write because I will be on getting to the truth. You are nothing but a negative influence who offers no positive benefit to anyone here.

 

My son worked at a Harley dealership, until a couple of months ago. A couple of years ago he called me up and the Legend Rep presented him/me with a deal I couldn't pass up, to test and give feedback. I got the AXEO's for the front and the Revo A's for the rear. Front is fantastic, but I never got the rear like I wanted or expected, (much better than stock but I expected more) so I gave Howard a call. I got 3-3's from Howard and they are great. So, end result is my 09 Ultra rides and handle fantastic. If the Ohlin cartridges or equal to or better than Legend you definitely can't go wrong.
Stage 1 - Stage 7 whatever, the first modification I would advise anyone to do is improve the suspension. Yes, I'm sold on Ohlin and Howard speaks my language. HP is useless if you can't put it to the ground or cut ride short because of comfort, and if you can't go in and out of curves with confidence then extra power is wasted and might even get you hurt.

What you do is whine and print lies. I copy and paste exactly what you said word for word. You are completely delusional if that worthless drivel would ever be enforceable to become illegal. You print lies and when you were caught you snivel about it. I did include your real name and adress with phone # so if anyone wishes to verify the facts they could do so.

Good Shock information? I called you out on just one of your posts which I can challenge you on every of the posts you made. You are not a knowledgeable machinist, if you did than you would have accepted my bet and won some free money. I did know what I was talking about and pay people to Hard Anodize my products that I market. Lane, please indicate what exact product you brought to market? You have never answer that question that I have asked with you, just start another subject. You claim you are a machinist for 37 years, you claim to be knowledgeable about suspension but I will dispute you on that. I believe you are qualified to drive around with a trunk full of company catalogues with pictures of machine tools on the pages. What you have demonstrated to me as fact, that is where your skills end, Yack Yack. If you really wish to man up than please post a real verifiable resume of your achievements for all to read. Prove who you are for all to see.

Best news I have heard all day. Frickin tired of hearing your rants and complaints about Howard.

 

I have no dog in this fight, but if there are issues they need to be shared for all to learn from. If there are misunderstands they need to be cleared up.

No one is PERFECT not even an HDforums advertiser.

This sight has a lot of "OPINIONS" and "EGOS". But when you weed though it all there is valuable information that is very helpful.

As for "SHOCKS" they are a MUST. There are several EXCELLENT brands including Ohlins, Legends and Pro-Action. In my opinion a buyer does himself a big disservice by not looking into all brands, searching the forums for the good and bad reviews and most importantly picking up the phone and calling the manufacturers / dealers and asking questions before dropping the coin. I was burned about 8 years ago by a guy on the sight that was raved as the best thing since sliced bread for stereo amps and speakers. Looked like a good deal and worked for a while. But long term you realized you did not make the best investment and that guy was gone. I just don't drink the kool aide after 60 years of age.
