Interesting, while I have not tried the American Elites I thought the Bridgestones held better than the OEM Dunlaps that came on my 2015 Limited. Just my experience. Especially the front. The OEM front inspired no confidence in any weather.

Just to kick the dead horse, has anyone run the Bridgestone Exedra G850s? The 180/55zr18 specifically. The load & speed rating is 74W vs. the 80H on the AE which I do not like. I have gone thru two of them on my 2020 Ultra Limited in less than 20k. My riding style and the hot Texas roads do not help. Most of the time, I will be by myself and, occasionally, my wife on the back for local rides with no heavy gear. What say the experts?

Seeing as this ,dead horse, is kicking. An update on my set of tires. On the highway they were as if I was on a Velcro strip in the corners but I didn’t exactly push the limits either. Two lane roads where the speed is down a bit they seemed to make the ride a bit smoother. Being on a switch back especially. Although I have already remedied the vibration issue.

Tire prices have definitely gone up. I bought them in 2018 for 175 dollars. Now they are 235 online. Got a quote from the dealer to see how much since I might switch to Dunlops and was told about 400 dollars just to bring in the rear wheel. I already have them off. Im thinking of taking them to cycle gear at this point.

Cycle Gear is cheap and good, just slow sometimes. They're an hour away so I don't like making 2 separate trips. I've been using the Honda dealer down in Fresno lately. They have been as cheap as Cycle Gear but get it done within a couple of hours while I run errands........

Update on this, I have the rear tire now! I find it is a very smooth ride so far. Have not been riding much because I have to replace the front tire. Couldn't afford to do both at the same time and I thought I had more life on the front than I actually do. Hope to have the front on by mid October so hopefully be able to give a better review.
